THE CREST 09: November 20-22, 2009

The Crest is now in its seventh year and we are blown away by what God continues to do in the lives of men.  From six guys in a cabin to over 300 at a huge camp, this event is proving to be one of the best in the country to experience the life-changing presence of God.  If you've never been to the Crest, start now on your preparations to set aside a weekend in November of 2009.  There are many reasons why people get excited about The Crest, but the #1 is the presence of God that shows up every time.  Simply put, when God shows up, things happen.

Do you need a healing?  Do you need an addiction to be broken?  Do you need a break-through financially?  Is lust controlling your life?  Have you back-sliden and it's time for a change?  Are you tired of mediocre Christianity and you're ready for the real deal?

Jesus is the answer to all of those questions and this event is all about Him.  At the Crest, you'll be surrounded by men of different ages, different nationalities, different denominations, different levels of life, but by the end of the weekend they all have one thing in common, an experience with a very real, extremely powerful, incredibly loving and forgiving God that they cannot deny.

Are you ready?  Register now for The Crest 09.

Mission Statement

The driving purpose of The Crest Men's retreat is to remind the "regular" men of the church of the power and authority they have in and through Jesus over ALL areas of their lives.

HISTORY

How did the Crest begin? In 2002, two guys from Stockton, CA decided that they wanted to spend a guy's weekend in the mountains "getting close to God."  So they did what every guy does when they want to do something crazy, they called all their other friends to see if they would do it with them.  Ultimately, five guys (Toby, Ryan, Mark, Daron and Rick) ended up renting a small cabin in Pinecrest, CA for a weekend.  It's hard to describe on a website, but that weekend (without them even knowing what was about to happen) changed their lives forever.  A fire was ignited deep within their hearts and 'The Crest Men's Retreat' was born.

In 2003, five guys turned into 13. In 2004 the number of men grew from 13 to 43 and in 2005 we joined Pastor Michael Williams Kingdom Men ministries an jumped to 150 men from all over California representing 13 different churches. Last year, over 300 men from all over the country from 25 different churches participated in this annual men's event.  Now the countdown to November is on for The Crest 09!  This year we're expecting up to 500 men.
